Grey Cat Mate Microchip Cat Door
The colour is dark grey, which will not be a perfect match for most UPVC or aluminium doors on the market. As the only version available at the moment, it is the closest match and being grey, it is a good starting point if you need to spay it to match a particular RAL colour.
A simple 4-way rotary lock lets you control what goes on with the door. The design of the Cat Mate microchip cat door maximises entrance opening space - providing easy, stress-free access for your cat.
The large 144mm (W) x 150mm (H) opening is fitted with a transparent flap most cats prefer and is made from super-tough polymer. The brush-sealed flap with magnetic closure ensures a draft-proof and weatherproof seal. The microchip door is self-lining to 85mm thick - ideal for fitting to all doors, including metal.

This door has been developed to offer the ultimate solution for selective entry control, operated by your cat's unique implanted identification microchip. This eliminates the stress and frustration caused by the unwelcome intrusion of neighbouring cats, providing your cat with a safe and secure environment. The door is easy to program, and up to 30 cats can be registered. For cats without an implanted microchip, a unique Cat Mate I.D. The disc can be attached to your cat's collar (available separately).
Please note - the read range on this unit may be affected by the material the cat flap is fitted into, e.g. metal. Also, if the door panel is reinforced with metal, the range of the chip scanner will be affected. You can fit the flap using the Petmate glass/wall adaptor to resolve this. OR, you can buy a replacement door panel from our website, available in 20mm, 24mm & 28mm. Our replacement panels do not have any metal in them.
The cat flap can also be easily fitted to walls or glass panels with an adapter kit (available separately).
For wall thickness over 85mm, a Cat Mate Elite Wall Liner (PM308W) will be required for each additional 50mm and a cat flap adapter kit (PM361) (available separately)
The Cat Mate door is battery-powered and will give approximately 12 months of operation from 4 x AA batteries (not included).
The LED indicator flashes with a short pulse every 30 seconds when the batteries need replacement.
